Disposition values added here will be available in the Disposition drop-down menu on each eTag. The following Dispositions are pre-set: Advanced Rejection, Pending, Rework, Scrap, Supplier Rework, Use As Is, Void.
Platforms
Platform values added here will be available in the Basic Info section of each part record. The Platform field serves as a way to categorize part numbers, particularly by airplane program or product model.
Defect Types
Defect Type values added here will be available in the Defect Type drop-down menu on each eTag. You can use defect types as a classification for reporting and analytics.
Cause and Corrective Actions
Cause, Corrective Action, and Subcause values added here will be available in the Root Cause, Corrective Action, and Subcause fields on each eTag.
Click the Add Cause button to add additional Causes. Use the drop-down arrow on the left side of a cause row to expand it, and to pair it with Corrective Actions and Subcauses.

Processes
Processes are used to categorize machining tools and methods. Once set up, these values can be assigned to any Feature. You can use Processes as a classification for reporting and analytics.
Materials
Materials values added here are available will be available in the Material Type drop-down menu in each Part's Basic Info section.
Non-Conformance Preferences
Use the available checkboxes to define non-conformance settings. Save changes after editing.
Enable cause and correction action for out-of-tolerance measurements
Allows users to select an appropriate Cause and Corrective Action when an out-of-tolerance measurement is entered on the "Record Measurements" page.
Require cause and correction action for out-of-tolerance measurements
If enabled, users must select an appropriate Cause and Corrective Action for each out-of-tolerance measurement entered on the "Record Measurements" page. If disabled, users can bypass the Cause/Correction window without providing this information.
Enable cause and correction action for out-of-control measurements
Allows users to select an appropriate Cause and Corrective Action when an out-of-control-limits measurement is entered on the "Record Measurements" page.
Require cause and corrective action for out-of-control measurements
If enabled, users will be forced to select an appropriate Cause and Corrective Action for each out-of-control-limits measurement entered on the "Record Measurements" page. If disabled, users can bypass the Cause/Correction window without providing this information.
Enable feature pre-control limits
If enabled, users will be able to provide a Cause and Corrective Action for a feature before its control limits are established, when an entered measurement exceeds 50% of a feature's tolerance limit.
Generate eTags for out-of-tolerance measurements
If enabled, an eTag will be automatically generated when an out-of-tolerance measurement is recorded.
Allow user to modify an out-of-tolerance or out-of-control measurement before specifying cause and corrective action
If enabled, users can cancel out of the Cause/Correction window when recording an out-of-tolerance or out-of-control-limits measurement. If disabled, the Cause/Correction window will not have a Cancel button.
Consolidate out-of-tolerance measurements into a single eTag
If enabled, all out-of-tolerance measurements recorded for a single part will be combined onto one eTag. If disabled, each out-of-tolerance measurement will result in separate eTags.
Limit eTag Updates by Active Workflow Step
If enabled, a user must be aligned with an eTag's current workflow step in order to edit it. (If no workflow is present, or if the workflow is finished. then this setting has no effect.) If disabled, eTags may be edited by an e-Rejection Tag Inspector at any time until the tag is closed.
