Unlinking a Delta FAIR

Delta FAIRs are indicated by a triangle (Delta) icon to the right of the FAIR # in the list view page

Only one Delta (child) FAIR can be linked to a Parent FAIR at a time, and vice versa. If there is already a Delta FAIR created from a Parent FAIR, you will not be able to create a new Delta from the Parent FAIR. You may see the error "There is already a delta created for this FAIR"

To unlink a Delta from its Parent, first open your Delta FAIR and find the "Deltas" button in the upper left corner of Form 1

 

or in Field 14

Then, click the X button to remove the linkage.

The FAIRs will be unlinked, and you will be able to create a new Delta from the Parent FAIR

Note: Unlinking does not delete the Delta FAIR. It only removes the parent-child relationship
