PPAPD/ Reuse Library Version History
Each PPAP Deliverable (PPAPD) or Reuse Library record has its own "Version History". Version and revision are synonymous when referring to a PPAPD/ Library. This page contains a list of all versions and a few summary details such as status, meta data, and signatures. Selecting a row will redirect the page to the selected version.
The version history content is dependent on the record's type (PPAPD or Reuse Library).
PPAPD
The columns button can be used to add or remove columns from view. Below are the columns available which can be searched. This page is the only location to find historical references to Work/Purchase Order and Other Restrictions.
Reuse Library
The columns button can be used to add or remove columns from view. Below are the columns available which can be searched.
Return to form will redirect the page to the latest version of the selected deliverable.
The yellow filter icon will remove any sorting, searching, or filtering applied to the table.
View Version
Online
Clicking this button will redirect the page to the "Online View" of the deliverable version. It will display the header data and the data table which is searchable. This is the view the customer will see when a PPAPD version is linked to an item in an APQP/PPAP Package.
The header section can be collapsed by selecting the "-" to create more vertical space for the table. It can be expanded again by selecting "+". The data contained here pulls information from the info tab and the save/publish modal for each version.
The data table functions similarly to the data table found in a deliverable tab. Columns have filtering and merging functionality. However, columns cannot be pinned, moved, or edited from this page.
To return to the version history page, select "Back" in your browser navigation.
Excel
Clicking this button will download an Excel file that looks similar to the online view above. It will contain formatted header data and the data table. Please note that this Excel file cannot be used to import data back into the data table.
Linked APQP/PPAP Packages
If a PPAPD deliverable version is linked to one or more APQP/PPAP packages, the version history will display a button to view more information. Clicking the button will display a summary modal shown below. For each linked package it will display the item name to which the version is attached, that item's status, the package number, and the package status. The item name contains a hyperlink to the package's "Checklist" tab.
