Initiate Audit
New audit records can be created either by selecting the Create Audit option on the main menu or by clicking the "Initiate" button located in the top-right of the View Internal/Supplier/Customer Audits pages.
There are three types of audits that can be created. Each type can be initiated through one of the sub-menus at the top of the page.
Internal Audits are conducted by your own company and are visible only to your company's users.
Supplier Audits are initiated by a customer for one of their suppliers. They are typically conducted entirely by the customer; options are available for making the audit form visible to the supplier, as well as for allowing the supplier to update the audit record and checklist themselves.
Customer Audits are initiated by a supplier on behalf of a customer (e.g., to fulfill a customer requirement). The audit form and checklist are visible to the customer, but cannot be be updated by the customer (with the exception of the checklist signature fields).
Users also have the option to Import audits forms. Only internal and supplier audits can be created using this option.
