Programs

Programs added to this list can be assigned to users, parts, and reports associated with parts (such as FAIRs).
If enhanced security is enabled in your company's Net-Inspect account, then in order to view technical data associated with a part, a user must have access to one or more of that part's Programs or Licenses.
Programs created in your account can be accessed and used by your direct Suppliers. For example, if a supplier selects your company as a FAIR's Customer, then they can choose any of your Programs to assign to that FAIR.

Program Name
Name of the program. Companies would be advised to base their program names on the methods they normally utilize to limit employees' access to technical data (i.e., factoring in elements such as export control classifications, region, and citizenship), and to use whatever terminology is most appropriate for this.
First Article Workflow
First Article Workflow
FAIR Workflow associated with the Program. This workflow will be automatically added to any FAIRs created by your company that are assigned to this Program. (If multiple workflows are applicable to the FAIR, then your company's Workflow Priority settings will be used to determine which workflow to add.)
eTag Workflow
eTag Workflow
eTag Workflow associated with the Program. This workflow will be automatically added to any eTags created by your company that are assigned to this Program. (If multiple workflows are applicable to the eTag, then your company's Workflow Priority settings will be used to determine which workflow to add.)
Expiration Date
Expiration Date
After the configured date, the program will no longer provide access to technical data and cannot be assigned to records (such as FAIRs). By default, programs do not have an expiration date.
Default Supplier Program
Default Supplier Program
If enabled for a Program, then that program will be automatically selected when a supplier selects your company's name as a record's Customer. (This setting is used by companies that use an extensive program list internally, but don't need or want their suppliers to utilize most of these programs)
License
License
If enabled for a Program, then that program can be aligned with one or more Suppliers. If a user is then aligned with the same License, then that user can open any records or technical data (e.g., FAIRs) created by that supplier, regardless of the Program assigned to that data.
Suppliers cannot directly assign Licenses to their own records or technical data.
