Workflows
A workflow can be used to separate the process of completing a FAIR or eTag into multiple steps, each of which is assigned to a group of users. Only users who are part of that group can complete the step and pass the FAIR or eTag to the next group.

Workflows
Workflow Type
Defines the type of document(s) the workflow can be applied to.
Workflow Level
Describes the conditions under which the workflow will be applied to a FAIR or eTag.
Company: Automatically assigned to all FAIRs/eTags
Part: Automatically assigned to FAIRs/eTags aligned with the selected Part Number
Program: Automatically assigned to FAIRs/eTags aligned with the selected Program
Document: Manually assigned to an individual FAIR or eTags
Division: Automatically assigned to FAIRs whose "From Division" matches the selected Division.
Multi-level Step Disapproval
If enabled, then while disapproving a workflow step, users can choose to return the workflow to any prior step. If disabled, then the workflow may only be returned to the preceding step.
Steps
Displays the number of steps in the workflow. Click "Add Steps" to create or edit steps.
Workflow Steps
Step Type
Determines whether the step is assigned to a Work center or a Department.
Step Name
Work Center or Department to which a step can be assigned.
Period
Number of days between initiation and due date of the workflow step.
Description
Short description of the actions that must be carried out before the workflow step is approved.
