Qualified Parts List
If the Qualified Parts List (QPL) setting is configured for a company on their eSource Preferences page, then they can use the QPL page to define which parts their suppliers may create Inspection Records (IRs) for.
The QPL table can be toggled between two views: "Customer View" and "Supplier View".
Customer View: Shows all QPL records created by your company. If the QPL setting is enabled, then your suppliers can only create inspection records for the part numbers listed here.
QPL entries shown here can be edited by clicking them. A drop-down menu on the right-side of each row allows a row to be Edited, Deleted, or Copied.
Supplier View: Shows all QPL records created by your customers. If your customer(s) have enabled the QPL setting, then you can only create inspection records for the part numbers listed here.
Each QPL row represents a specific Part Number, Part Revision, Supplier, and Tool Die Set Number (where applicable).
Add New QPL: Adds a new record to the QPL list
Bulk Update: Appears if one or more QPL records are selected using the checkboxes on the left side of the table. Allows multiple QPL entries to flagged as available or unavailable for inspection, or to add the same expiration date to several entries.
Export: Generates a .xlsx file containing the current contents of the QPL table
Columns: Used to add or remove columns from the QPL table:
Part Number
Number of the IR part. Must be selected from your account's list of existing part records.
Part Revision
Revision level of the IR part.
Part Name
Name of the IR part. Automatically selected from .
Tool Die Set Number
Unique designation of the tool die set used in manufacturing the part. May optionally be required when a supplier creates an IR.
QPL
Toggles the availability of the entry for inspection. If the QPL is enabled, then toggling this off for a part prevents the Supplier from creating an IR for the record.
Open PO
Automatically configured based on the Customer's purchase order feed. Optionally, only QPL entries that have the Open PO setting toggled to "Yes" can create IRs for that record.
Jurisdictions
Lists sets of export control jurisdictions that may apply to the entered Part Number. Automatically entered based on the part record.
Classifications
Lists sets of export control classifications that may apply to the entered Part Number. Automatically entered based on the part record.
Supplier
IR provider, usually the company responsible for shipping the part. Drawn from your company's supplier list.
Supp Code
Supplier code of the selected Supplier.
CTQ
Indicates whether a record exists for the entered part number in Net-Inspect's "KPC" module. "Yes" is displayed if a "KPC 1" or "KPC 2" record exists in the part's BOM; otherwise, "No" is displayed.
Updated By
Last user to update the QPL record.
Updated
Date the QPL record was last modified.
Created
Date the QPL record was created.
QPL Expires
