Inspection Report
The Inspection Report allows you to create custom reports for your measurement data. The report can be filtered to show any set of a part's measurement data and can include whatever data columns you would like to show. The report, which is displayed in a preview on the page as you build it, can be exported to either an Excel or PDF file.
You can begin building a new report by selecting a Part Number on the left side of the page. After the 1 to 5–page preview of the report loads, you can click the Save button at any time to save a copy of the report, which will be populated to the 'Saved Custom Reports' on the dashboard. The Download Report As button will become available after selecting a Run Number, Serial Number, or Measurement Column.
Click the Options button to customize your report's settings, header information, and columns, and then click the Set button to apply the selected options. These settings can be saved to your report at any time by clicking the Save button.
A list of all the reports you have saved will be shown each time you open the Inspection Report. When saving a report, you can also choose to make it available to All Users, which will allow any user to see and load the report from the "Shared Custom Reports" section when visiting the Inspection Report page; or Only Me, which will let you (and not other users) load the report from the "Private Custom Reports" section. You can select a different report at any time by clearing the selected Part Number. (Click the "x" icon on the right side of the field.)
Report
The "Report" drop-down menu in the top-left of the page can be used to navigate to the Measurement List report, which provides a simplified list of measurements and customization options.
Filters
As you apply filters to the report using the fields in the sidebar on the left side of the page, they will be automatically applied to the PDF preview of your report. Note that only the first 5 pages of the report will be shown here.
Additional filters will automatically be shown after you provide a Part Number.
Some filters allow you to enter a range of values. In the Serial Number filter field, for example, you can specify an entire range of numbers at once by entering two serial numbers separated by a semicolon (;).
Options
Use the Options panel to apply settings, header data, and columns to your report. Press the Set button to show them on the PDF preview, and press the Save button afterward to save these settings to a custom report.
You can reposition your Selected Columns by clicking and dragging them upward or downward. Columns at the top of the list will appear furthest to the left on the report, while columns at the bottom will show furthest to the right.
