Copying a FAIR

The "Copy From Existing" option, located on the Create FAIR page, lets you copy a previous FAIRs data to a new FAIR.

A "Copy FAIR"  button is also available in the top-left of each FAIR created in your account.



 

The following three options are available for copying a FAIR:

 

Within this account

The new copy will be added to the Net-Inspect account you're currently logged in to.

Between accounts

The new copy will be sent from one Net-Inspect account to another after you supply valid login information for each account.

Source Company
Account that owns the original FAIR

Destination Company
Account that will own the new copy of the FAIR

 


If the source/destination is the account you are currently logged into, then you can click the Use Current Company button instead of entering credentials.

To a supplier account

The new copy will be sent to the account belonging to the Supplier or Supplier Code that you select. This option is available only to users that have a subscription which covers Net-Inspect's FAIR solution.

Your company must have created the FAIR for it to appear in the dropdown selector.

After specifying a source and destination and searching for a FAIR number, you will be asked to select which information to copy. Select the ones that apply.

An option is also available for making the new FAIR a Delta, which establishes a link between it and the original FAIR. This option is only available if the original FAIR has been approved or otherwise closed.

Lastly, you will have the option of voiding the original FAIR. This option is only available if the original FAIR has not yet been submitted to its customer. The FAIR should not be voided if it is still applicable.

Once you have finished, click the Copy FAIR # to create the FAIR.
