Checklist
The customer of an eSource Inspection Record (IR) may provide a list of questions that must be answered by the supplier prior to IR submission. These questions ensure that the supplier follows all necessary steps involved in product shipment.
Multiple sets of questions may be configured by the Customer and automatically applied to your IR if it meets their selected criteria. Sets of questions can be configured for any of the following criteria:
- All Suppliers
- Specific Supplier
- Supplier Group
- Commodity
- Part Number
- Part Number at Supplier
Checklist questions come in two varieties:
Multiple Choice: Select from between one or more answers. Correct or adequate answers will be highlighted in green; incorrect or inadequate answers will be highlighted in red, and will result in the IR being blocked and requiring manual approval by the customer upon submission.
Freeform: Provide any entry in the available field to satisfy the requirement.
Supporting documents can be uploaded to accompany any checklist question by clicking a corresponding "Select Files" button, or by dragging-and-dropping a file into the appropriate section. These documents can be viewed and downloaded by the Customer. Your customer may require uploading a document for certain questions.
