Machines List

The "Machines" page provides a list of machine records that have been created in your company's Net-Inspect account. The listed machines can be associated with measurement runs and reports (such as nonconformance records) and scheduled for preventative maintenance, and can have incident records filed for them.

Clicking a row on the table causes its corresponding record to open.

The search field in the top-right of the table can be used to filter the report by machine name. There are also icons at the top of each column that allow a user to provide an entry by which the Machine list can be filtered.

Add Machine: Opens the Create a Machine page

Export: Generates an Excel file with the current contents of the Machines table

Columns: Used to add or remove columns from the Machines table

Show Removed Machines: Causes removed machines to be displayed on the Machines table. Machines that have been removed can be restored by opening the record and unmarking the "Remove Machine" checkbox.
 

Columns

Machine Name
Name used to identify machine. The provided name will be displayed throughout Net-Inspect in fields where a Machine can be selected.

Machine Number
Numerical designation for the machine.

Model Number
Machine model number, to be provided if distinct from Machine Number.

Cell
Name used to identify a grouped set of machines.

Type
Category of machine.

Serial
Machine serial number.

Mfg. Year
Year that the machine was manufactured.

Manufacturer
Name of the machine's manufacturer.
