Record Measurements
Quality Management > Record Measurements
Two options are available in the Record Measurements screen, "Start a new run" and "Resume an existing run"
Start a new run
Part | Use the dropdown to select an existing part. See add a part to add new parts |
Cell/Location | Cell or location on the shop floor where the selected operation occurs. (See company preferences to add new cells) |
Machine | Machine used to manufacture the part. Machines can be added via the Add a Machine page. |
Run Number | Type in unique designator for run (Lot #, Job #, etc.). |
Operation Number | Operation number to be measured. Leave default value (0) if you wish to view all part features. |
PO Number | Type in the Customer P.O. # (Optional). Multiple PO numbers should be separated with commas. |
Lot Size | Type the lot size listed on the MO (Manufacturing Operation) (not the actual quantity of parts at your workstation). MO lot size is used to determine number of parts to be sampled based on sampling plan selected in the inspection plan for each feature. |
Serialized | If the part is serialized, an additional field will populate. Fill in a base serial number and choose whether the serial number should automatically increment. |
