Company Setup: Capabilities
Navigation Path: Settings (gear icon) > Company Setup > General Setup > Company Details > Capabilities
The Company Capabilities page allows supplier companies to record and manage the manufacturing and process capabilities they offer. Information entered here is visible to customers who view the company's supplier profile in the Supply Chain module.
This page is accessible to supplier setup administrators only.
Note: Customers will be able to view information entered on this page.
Capabilities List
The page displays a table of all capabilities added to your company. By default, the following columns are shown: Category, Sub Category, Capability, and Description. Two additional columns — Last Updated By and Last Updated Date — are available but hidden by default. Use the COLUMNS button in the upper right to show or hide columns.
Each row includes an edit (pencil) icon and a delete (trash) icon.
Adding a Capability
- Click the + ADD CAPABILITY button in the upper right.
- Complete all required fields in the inline row that appears.
- Click SAVE to save the new capability.
Capability Fields
Category
Required. Select the capability category from the pre-populated dropdown list. Categories cover a wide range of manufacturing and process types.
Sub Category
Required. Select the sub-category corresponding to the selected Category. Available sub-categories are determined by the Category selection.
Capability
Required. Enter a free-text description of the specific capability within the selected category and sub-category (e.g., a process name, material specification, or equipment type).
Description
Optional. Enter any additional detail about this capability.
Editing and Deleting Capabilities
To edit a capability, click the pencil icon on the row. Update the relevant fields and click SAVE.
To delete a capability, click the trash icon on the row. A confirmation prompt will appear — confirm to permanently remove the entry.
Any additions, edits, or deletions made on this page are reflected immediately on the supplier profile visible to customers.
Access
Supplier Users:
- Setup administrators can add, edit, and delete capabilities.
- Non-administrator users do not have access to Company Setup pages.
Customer Users:
- Can view supplier capabilities from the supplier's profile in the Supply Chain module.
- Cannot add, edit, or delete capabilities from the supplier's Company Setup page.
