Overview
The Help Desk AI Assistant provides immediate answers to common Net-Inspect questions by drawing information from our knowledge base articles. This feature is designed to help you get unstuck quickly, without the inconvenience of writing support tickets for routine questions.
How to Access
- After logging in to Net-Inspect, look for chat icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen
- Click the chat icon to open the assistant window
- Type your question in natural language
You’ll receive an immediate response based on our knowledge base. You can move, minimize and resize the chat window as you need.
What It Can Help With
The AI assistant is most effective for:
- FAI Creation: Step-by-step guidance for creating First Article Inspection Reports
- Navigation: Finding specific features or pages within Net-Inspect
- User Management: Help with supplier user alignment and setup
- Process Questions: Understanding Net-Inspect workflows and procedures
Current Limitations
- Knowledge base only: Responses are limited to information in our existing articles
- No account-specific help: Cannot access your specific data or configurations
- Complex issues: May require traditional support for advanced troubleshooting
- Continuous improvement: We're actively enhancing the assistant based on usage
Tips for Best Results
- Be specific: "How do I create a new FAI?" works better than "Help with FAI"
- Use Net-Inspect terms: Reference specific modules, features, or processes
- Try rephrasing: If you don't get a helpful answer, try asking the same question differently
Getting Additional Help
If the AI assistant can't answer your question:
- Try rephrasing your question or adding additional context
- Make sure your question relates to general issues and settings, and not specific data or individual records
- Submit a traditional support ticket for complex issues
- Contact support at helpdesk@net-inspect.com for urgent matters
Providing Feedback
Help us improve the assistant:
- Use the feedback options within the assistant interface
- Report any inaccurate responses to our support team
- Suggest topics that need better coverage
Important note: The AI assistant is trained exclusively and securely on our product knowledge base and continues to improve with use. The AI assistant does not have access to or use any customer data.
