How do I find my APQP/PPAP package/ record?
Package and record are synonymous terms for a record within APQP/PPAP. Here is how to find your APQP package or record:
- Use the global search function within Net-Inspect
- Find via the list pages
- If your customer is requesting your company to complete a package, check the "View Customer" page
- If you are requesting a supplier to complete a package, check the "View Supplier" page
- Otherwise, check the "View Internal" page
- If your customer is requesting your company to complete a package, check the "View Customer" page
- Check email notifications
- If your company has APQP notifications enabled, check your email filters or spam filters to for notifications related to APQP/PPAP packages/ records
How do I delete my signature on an item submission?
You submitted an item (element, phase, event, etc.) within an APQP/PPAP package but the delete button is not visible. Here are some reasons why and what to do:
- The item is accepted
- Discuss with your customer or internal team on disapproving the item
- The item is accepted because the acceptance column states "Acceptance Signature Not Required"
- The customer or internal approver must change this to "Acceptance Required" by clicking "Change"
- Refresh your screen and the delete button will reappear for the submission signature on the item
- The customer or internal approver must change this to "Acceptance Required" by clicking "Change"
- The signature is not your own signature
- You do not have the correct roles to delete another user's signature. Please contact your Net-Inspect APQP Admin to find the correct person within your company
