Net-Inspect Global Search Function

This article details how to use the global search function found in Net-Inspect's navigation bar at the top of every Net-Inspect page.  

How the search function works

The search takes a provided input and looks for references of that within Net-Inspect.  It will organize those results according to module but only shows a maximum of five search results per module.  The search results may exceed the height of your screen so don't forget to scroll down.  Clicked results will open in a new browser tab.

Inputs allowed

The search accepts queries for one type of field at a time.  Please enter one search criteria at a time.  Below is the list of allowed inputs although it is not exhaustive:

• Part number or name
• Record ID's (such as 264 as displayed in the image above)
• Company names such as Supplier Name or Customer Name
