Removal of User ID/Password Fields Within the Application
- Projected Implementation Date: July 8, 2024 (Implemented 7/5/24)

Details: User ID and Password fields will be removed within the application after sign-in (for instance, during FAIR submission and approval processes.)

Strong Password Requirements for New Passwords
- Projected Implementation Date: July 12, 2024 (Implemented 7/12/24)

Details: All new passwords will be required to meet strong password criteria to enhance account security.

Password Comparison Against Public List of Compromised Passwords
- Projected Implementation Date: July 19, 2024 (Implemented 7/23/24)

Details: Upon login, user passwords will be compared against a public list of compromised passwords to prevent the use of insecure credentials.

Mandatory Strong Passwords for Users with Weak Passwords
- Projected Implementation Date: July 26, 2024

Details: Users with weak passwords will be required to update their passwords to meet strong password standards.

Enhanced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enrollment
- Projected Implementation Date: July 26, 2024

Details: Users will gradually be re-enrolled in multi-factor authentication (MFA) with added security measures to further protect their accounts. This will occur in phases, so groups of users will be notified via email as the enrollment requirement is applied.
