Creating Audit Checklist
Steps to create a new audit checklist:
1. Click on "CREATE NEW CHECKLIST" on the Audit Checklists list page.
2. Give your audit a name and link it to an Audit Type. Remember that audit types can have one or multiple checklists.
3. Add sections to the Audit by using the "ADD SECTION" button. If you are importing a checklist, do this BEFORE downloading the template under the IMPORT button.
4. For manually entering questions, click on the "ADD QUESTION" button, input the question information, and save by clicking the blue checkmark.
Take note of these field length restrictions:
# - Must be a whole number, no decimals
Section - 100 characters of text
Subject - 100 characters of text
Procedure - 100 characters of text
Question - No limit
Guidance - 2000 characters of text
Skip to step 8 if you are not importing a checklist.
5. To IMPORT your checklist, ensure you have added sections (step 3 above) first. Click the IMPORT button and download the template.
6. You can now enter or copy/paste data into the import template. Any existing questions on the checklist will be displayed here. This is also a useful way to copy/paste questions from other checklists.
Remember that each section is in a separate Excel sheet.

7. Import the checklist back into Net-Inspect.
Your questions will be added:
8. Review your checklist and click the PUBLISH button to activate the checklist for the chosen audit type. Assign a checklist version.
9. Once published, the checklist will be accessible for the specified audit type when creating a new audit. If modifications are required, you will need to create a new version:
While creating a new version, it will be in Draft status and not available for current or new audits. The new version will become the only available version for this checklist once published.
