PPAP Deliverables: Data Validation Errors
"Data validation errors" is a side panel in the PPAP Deliverables module defining errors specific to each deliverable. The intention of the side panel is to help users catch common, easy errors.
The panel has two states: warnings and errors. Warnings happen after a save event to notify the user of data to enter in the future. Errors occur when a user attempts to publish. The data in the table is saved but we will prevent the user from publishing until all errors displayed in the panel are corrected. In either case, the panel will disappear when the page is refreshed and will reappear with new save or publish attempts. The panel can be hidden by selecting the two right arrows ">>". In order to work on the errors provided by the panel, the user will have to renter edit mode manually. The panel can be closed by clicking the X on the right. It will reopen at save or publish.
What are the data validation rules?
The below table details when the data validation errors panel will trigger:

All columns starting from potential failure mode through the current process detection column, must be entered except for the following cells:

How are the data validation errors organized?
Errors are aggregated according to row. This allows the user to address related issues together.
When a row error line is selected, the row is highlighted in blue. Once a specific error is selected, the specific cell will be highlighted in the table.
