CMM FTP File Upload Structure

Companies that subscribe to our Measurement Collection Service and Quality Management modules may setup a sFTP site to allow Net-Inspect to automatically process files. Net-Inspect does not host these sFTP sites, we will need credentials for your hosted site. When provided we create the following folders:

Root directory - Measurement files should be placed in the root directory. Net-Inspect will automatically create the following folders after the first file has been processed: 

SuccessfullyProcessed - These files have been successfully processed and the measurements are available in your account.  

Downloaded - These files have been downloaded to our system and we are currently processing the files. 

Error - These files are processed and an Error has occurred during processing, these measurements have not been loaded into your account. 

Duplicate - The measurement file has already been previously processed and will not be processed a second time. 

UnProcessed - These files had an issue and could not be processed. 

How does the sFTP work?

Net-Inspect will pick up to 30 files at a time every 5 minutes. We will move them to folders as specified above. 

Important note: Ensure you are dropping a copy of the measurement file into the root directory and not syncing to another folder.
