Trouble Logging In: P&W Migration
My company had an account on the Pratt & Whitney hosted environment which was migrated April 15th. If you are having issues logging in, please investigate using the instructions below.
Note that any account ending with (ARCHIVE) or -ARCH is an archived account which is for reference only (new data cannot be generated).
Be sure you are logging in through www.net-inspect.com > SIGN IN.
You have an active User ID on your Net-Inspect account
You can use these directions to get logged in:
- In your web browser, go to https://www.net-inspect.com.
- First, you will need to set a password for your User ID in the account
- From the Net-Inspect Login page, click the “Set or Reset Password” link, enter your email address, and click. You will receive an email with directions.
- Click the “Restore Password” link in the email you receive
- A Change Password page will appear. If you see drop-down list of Companies, then select from this list.
- Enter your new password.
- You will repeat this process (using the “Set or Reset Password” link) for each active account.
- Return to the Net-Inspect Login page. You can now log into your company’s active account with the following credentials:
- User ID: Your work email address (previously used to access the P&W supplier portal)
- Password: Your newly set password
- Company Name: Use short company name
- If you do not know your short company name or want to verify the name, then select Forgot User ID or Company Name?
You have an inactive User ID on your Net-Inspect account:
Your account's setup or super administrator can activate your Net-Inspect User ID by following these steps after logging into Net-Inspect.
- Click the gear-shaped Setup button, located in the top-right of each page
- Select "User Management"
- Mark the "Show Removed Users" checkbox in the top-right of the User Management table
- Select a User ID
- Unmark the "Remove User" checkbox in the top-right of the user's "Basic Info" page. Provide one or more User Types. (The "E-First Article Inspector" User Type is necessary for creating and submitting FAIRs.)
- Click the Save Change button
- Then you as the user can follow the steps above for each account
