APQP/PPAP: Additional Part Info Field Setup
This article describes modifying custom fields within your company's APQP settings if your company has a Net-Inspect APQP license. If you want to know more or get a quote for APQP, please contact sales@net-inspect.com. This is not required to create packages for your customers.
All fields listed on this page will appear on the part info section of an APQP/PPAP package's part info tab. The fields selected here will populate on an APQP/PPAP package if the package is internal or if your company is listed as the customer. The fields may also be applied to APQP/PPAP packages involving your customers, but only if they have not enabled this setting themselves.
Fields Managed by Net-Inspect (Reportable)
These fields are maintained by Net-Inspect and therefore populate on the list page and reports. They can be toggled on but cannot be required. They can be used to suite reporting needs by your company if necessary.
Custom Fields
Custom fields are created and maintained by your company. Once entered, they are optional on the part info section but they can be toggled to required.
Some field types require "answer" entry as they are drop down choices.
